Since 2016 I work as an Architect at Vastint Hospitality, where I am involved in various projects mainly Hospitality and Residential. While working here I had the opportunity to participate in various stages of the design process, from Acquisition phase and Masterplan until detailed Interior Design. I also discovered my passion for Interior Architecture, and I worked on a number of projects, varying from Hotel Room Design, (Courtyard by Marriott, AC by Marriott, Moxy XL room , new room concepts) and Hotel Public Areas (Moxy, and AC by Marriott) to Residential Apartment layouts and detailed interior design.
I successfully completed a Master programme in Tu Delft. During the first year, I followed The Why Factory, a specialization that deals with design and research on future cities and in the second semester, I participated in the RMIT specialization, which deals with restoration and intervention in existing building complexes. Both specializations are dealing with the aspect of sustainability, in different scales, which, I believe should be a focal point of the building industry.
During my studies, I did an eight month internship at studioSK, Movares. My duties included 3d and 2d drawings, research and preparation of presentations. What is more, I have worked as an architect in Greece, at CDS architects and engineers, where I worked with various projects that included office and residential buildings, hotels and renovations.
I am, also, a graduate from the School of Architecture of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2006-2012). For my graduation thesis - "Designing at the traces of the past: Student dormitories in Neapoli, Thessaloniki"- I worked on the restoration and intervention in an old tobacco warehouse, which was transformed into student dormitories with leisure facilities.
